Destructive Cyborg is a free character in The Strongest Battlegrounds built for mid-range combat. He shines in sustained fights with a flexible moveset that shifts entirely when you activate his ultimate, Maximum Energy Output. His passives reward aggressive finishing moves and smart ragdoll cancels, making him a strong pick if you like high-damage, in-your-face fighting.

What You Need to Know

Destructive Cyborg excels at mid-range, with one ranged move in base form and a full ranged arsenal in his ultimate. Since he's free, you unlock him immediately—no grind or cost required. His strength comes from chaining skills to reset cooldowns and landing finishers. The character rewards precision and timing over button-mashing.

Passives

Charring Finish

Finishing an opponent with any skill resets the cooldown on Machine Gun Blows, Ignition Burst, Blitz Shot, Jet Dive, Thunder Kick, and Speedblitz Dropkick. This means landing the kill blow with a skill opens the door to chain another one immediately. The catch: hitting the same opponent multiple times doesn't stack this bonus.

Rocket Powered Fist

The fourth hit of your M1 combo (your basic punch sequence) gains extra range. When you hit with an uppercut, enemies fly higher. This makes your basic combo a setup tool as much as damage—use it to launch foes into position for your skills.

Burst Out

When you ragdoll cancel on the ground, a small explosion triggers, dealing 9–14% damage and stunning everyone nearby. If you cancel mid-air, it just cancels normally without the explosion. This passive rewards defensive play and turns a recovery move into an offensive tool.

Base Moveset

M1 (Basic Punch) — 14% damage, 2-second cooldown

Throw three punches, then finish with a small fire blast that has extra range. The extended range on the final hit makes this combo useful for closing distance and setting up follow-ups.

Machine Gun Blows — 21% damage, 15-second cooldown

Unleash a rapid barrage of punches and a final kick that ragdolls enemies upward. Your movement locks during this move, so commit carefully. Landing this gives you breathing room and resets if you finish the opponent.

Ignition Burst — 15–26% damage (varies), 17-second cooldown

Dash forward with your arms out, blasting anyone in your path. You can also damage enemies behind you at the start of the dash. Damage scales based on distance and opponent state: 15% at close range, 11% on startup, 12% far away, 14% if blocked, 26% if the opponent is ragdolled, or 23% if far and ragdolled. You can cancel this early by pressing the skill again, making it a flexible tool for repositioning or committing to damage.

Blitz Shot — 6–25% damage (varies), 25-second cooldown

Hold your glowing hand to charge a fiery projectile. Release it (or wait 3 seconds for full charge) to fire it forward. The projectile curves slightly and ignores gravity, stopping only when it hits a wall, the floor, an opponent, or after traveling long enough. Fully charged shots can't be blocked. Your movement locks while charging unless you use it mid-air (which completely stops you). Enemies can reflect this with certain moves.

Jet Dive — 20% damage, 17-second cooldown

Jump up and smash down after a short delay, launching anyone hit into the air. If enemies block incorrectly, they take reduced chip damage but don't ragdoll. This is your primary mid-range finisher in base form.

Ultimate: Maximum Energy Output

Press G to activate your ultimate. You crouch, plant your fists, and emit steam and fire, then unleash all your energy. The move lasts 42 seconds and deals 32% total damage (16% startup + 16% ending). When active, your entire moveset shifts to ranged attacks, letting you control fights from distance.

Thunder Kick — 40% damage (20% missed, 14% missed and interrupted), 15-second cooldown

Spin toward your target with orange energy, then unleash an electrical kick. If it lands, the victim flies away and you teleport directly above them before crashing down. If you miss, you stamp your fists into the ground and charge an explosion that damages the area around you (smaller damage if interrupted while charging). This is a high-damage skill with a built-in second hit on success.

Speedblitz Dropkick — 50% damage (30% if ragdolled, 20% AoE, 5% if blocked), 20-second cooldown

Launch yourself in the direction you're facing with a burst of energy. If you hit an opponent, you lock them between your legs and slam both of you upward, then crash the target head-first into the ground, creating a crater and dealing area damage. This skill can bypass The Strongest Hero's special mechanics, making it valuable in specific matchups.

Tips and Strategy

💡 Tip — Chain skills to reset cooldowns. Finish enemies with a skill (not your M1) to immediately reuse Machine Gun Blows, Ignition Burst, Blitz Shot, Jet Dive, Thunder Kick, or Speedblitz Dropkick without waiting. This is your primary damage pattern.
💡 Tip — Use M1 to set up ragdolled targets. Land your basic combo to launch enemies, then follow with high-damage skills on ragdolled opponents for bonus damage (Ignition Burst hits for 26% on ragdolled foes, Thunder Kick for 40%, Speedblitz Dropkick for 50%).
💡 Tip — Ragdoll cancel offensively with Burst Out. When you're on the ground, your cancel creates an explosion that stuns and damages nearby enemies. Use it to reset pressure and punish rushdowns.
💡 Tip — In ultimate mode, play at range. All your skills become projectiles and distance moves, so stay mobile and use the 42-second window to control space before dropping back to mid-range base form.
