The Strongest Hero is the first character ever released in The Strongest Battlegrounds. It's completely free and based on Saitama from One Punch Man — a character known for ridiculous power with no limits. If you're starting out, this is an excellent character to learn because its combos are straightforward and it hits hard up close.
How to Get The Strongest Hero
You don't need to unlock anything. The Strongest Hero is free and available from the start. Just select it as your character and jump into a match.
Why Play The Strongest Hero
This character specializes in close-range brawling. It has three combo extenders that flow smoothly together, making it beginner-friendly compared to most other characters. The real standout feature is its ultimate ability, which charges twice as fast as every other character's ultimate. Its signature move during ultimate mode — Death Counter — can one-shot opponents if you time it right, which is why skilled players use it to dominate in fights.
Passive Ability
The Strongest: Your ultimate meter fills twice as fast as other characters. This lets you enter Serious Mode much more frequently and chain ultimate moves faster than your opponents can react.
Basic Attacks
Your regular toolkit includes five moves that work best when chained together:
- M1 (Basic Punches): Throw four quick punches forward. The fourth punch knocks enemies back. 14% damage, 2-second cooldown.
- Normal Punch: Wind up and punch straight ahead. Direct hits ragdoll opponents and send them flying, dealing 20% damage plus 10% fall damage. This cannot be blocked. If they ragdoll cancel, they skip the fall damage. 30% damage up close, 11% from range, 20-second cooldown.
- Consecutive Punches: Rapid barrage of punches that hit even ragdolled enemies. 15% damage, 15-second cooldown.
- Shove: Quick push that damages and moves enemies backward. Can reflect most projectiles if you time it perfectly. Cannot be blocked. 7% damage, 10-second cooldown.
- Uppercut: Wind up and punch upward, jumping and launching your target into the air. Cannot be blocked. 15% damage, 20-second cooldown.
Serious Mode (Ultimate)
Press G to activate your ultimate. You clasp your hands together with dramatic wind effects. While active, you cannot heal. Your ultimate lets you use four special moves, each devastating in its own way:
Death Counter
Activate a counter with a 10-second window. Other players won't see any indicator that it's active. If you successfully counter an opponent's attack, you teleport behind them with your fist raised. The screen displays the Japanese character for "Death," then shows you with glowing white eyes about to throw the ultimate punch. You one-shot them and send them flying. This is guaranteed death if it lands. One use per ultimate, or 20 seconds between uses if you have Infinite Awakening.
Table Flip
Push nearby opponents away with wind, then drive your fist into the ground. An outline appears showing where you'll flip. You rip upward violently, destroying the ground and launching anyone in front of you plus debris into the sky. Damage scales based on how many players are hit and how close they are to you. One use per ultimate, or 20 seconds between uses if you have Infinite Awakening.
Serious Punch
A cutscene plays as you ready your fist. You push nearby enemies away with wind, then punch in your direction. Rocks cave in and a huge path of destruction forms, knocking opponents back. Damage ranges from 30%–70% depending on distance. If enemies get hit by the wind during startup, it instantly kills them (210% damage). One use per ultimate, or 20 seconds between uses if you have Infinite Awakening.
Omni-Directional Punch
Spin around and stomp the ground, hitting enemies in all directions. Infinite damage, making it another guaranteed finisher. One use per ultimate, or 20 seconds between uses if you have Infinite Awakening.
Combat Strategy
Play aggressive and stay close. Use your basic punches to poke enemies and build combos. Your fast ultimate charge means you'll access Serious Mode much sooner than opponents — use that advantage to launch an ultimate attack while they're still building theirs. Death Counter is a mind game: activate it, play normally, and wait for them to attack. If they bite, you get a free one-shot.
Best Uses
The Strongest Hero works best if you're comfortable with close-range fighting and reading your opponent's moves. It's perfect for learning the game because combos are forgiving. It's also famous for trolling other players with Death Counter and Serious Punch one-shots, so expect some salty opponents — but that's part of the fun.
