Forsaken is a competitive Roblox survival game where two teams face off: Survivors trying to complete objectives and stay alive, and Killers hunting them down. Your role—and your strategy—depends on which side you're assigned when you spawn.
Warning: Forsaken contains flashing lights and loud audio. If you're epileptic or sensitive to strobing effects, be careful before playing.
Your First Match
- Click Play to enter a match. You'll spawn as either a Survivor or a Killer—the game assigns your role randomly.
- Read your objective text when you load in. It tells you what you need to do and what role you've been given.
- Once the match starts, you're locked in. You cannot leave the map or go back—this is your eternal prison for the duration.
- Watch the timer in the corner of your screen. The match ends when it reaches 0:00.
If You're a Survivor
Your job is to protect your team and complete the objectives before time runs out.
- Complete the objectives. The match will show you what you need to do. Work together with teammates to finish them.
- Stay alive. Killers are hunting you. Avoid them, hide, or work as a team to outmaneuver them.
- Protect your teammates. Watch out for each other and alert them when danger is near.
- Survive the timer. If the timer hits 0:00 before Killers eliminate all Survivors, your team wins.
If You're a Killer
Your goal is simple: eliminate every Survivor before the timer runs out.
- Hunt them down. Search the map and find all Survivors.
- Kill them all. Leave no one standing. Use any means necessary to eliminate your targets.
- Work with your team. Other Killers are helping you. Coordinate to cover more ground and corner Survivors.
- Beat the clock. The timer is running. Work fast—if any Survivors are still alive when it hits 0:00, they win.
Core Gameplay Loop
Every match follows the same structure:
- You spawn and learn your role (Survivor or Killer).
- The match begins. Survivors get objectives to complete; Killers start hunting.
- Survivors work together and try to stay alive while finishing tasks. Killers track them down and eliminate them.
- The match ends when either all Survivors are dead (Killers win) or the timer reaches 0:00 (Survivors win).
- You're sent back to the lobby to queue for your next match.
Common Beginner Mistakes
- Playing solo as a Survivor. Stick with your teammates. Alone, you're easy prey for Killers.
- Ignoring objectives. Survivors: completing objectives isn't optional—it's how you win. Focus on them.
- Panicking. Stay calm. Running in random directions makes you an easy target. Think tactically.
- Forgetting the timer. Always check how much time is left. Late-match strategy changes when time is running low.
- Not communicating. If your game has voice or text chat, use it. Information saves lives.
Characters and Progression
Forsaken features playable Survivor characters you can unlock. Jane Doe is a newer Survivor with associated quests you can complete to unlock her as a playable character. Completing quests advances your progression and gives you more options when selecting your Survivor.
Notes About the Game
Forsaken is currently in alpha, meaning it's still in active development. Features, balance, and gameplay can change as the developers update it. The game also includes limited-time cosmetics (like July 4th-themed skins in July) that rotate in and out of availability.
