Advanced Diving Gear

Overview

The Advanced Diving Gear is a Diving Gear that when equipped, will allow the player to swim underwater for about 3 minutes. It can be bought in The Ocean (coordinates X: -790, Y: 130, Z: -3103), just further behind Statue of Sovereignty, floating on a buoy. It can also be found in the Desolate Deep on the left path, sold by the Maverick Merchant. Lastly, it can be found in Atlantis, Next to the merchant. The Advanced Diving Gear carries a hefty price tag, costing 12,000C$ more than the Basic Diving Gear, sitting at a cost of 15,000C$.

Usage

The Advanced Diving Gear can be used to access the Desolate Deep, although this is unnecessary as the Basic Diving Gear is also able to do this at a lower cost. It can also be used for finding Treasure Chests, although the Basic Diving Gear is also sufficient for this. This might make the the Advanced Diving Gear seem useless, but it gives you more time to explore the underwater places without worrying about running out of air. The Advanced Diving Gear is great for exploring Atlantis as it gives more time to do the puzzles.

Effects

• Underwater, the Advanced Diving Gear lasts 3 minutes and 11 seconds, which is 1 minute and 9 seconds more than the Basic Diving Gear, putting the cost to value at about 80C$ per second spent under water. That is about 3.3x more then the Basic Diving Gear, which is valued at 24C$ per second spent under water.
  • The Advanced Diving Gear is currently the best Diving Gear in the game, pairing well with Super Flippers and allowing you to swim both quickly and for extended periods of time underwater. There is also a hidden effect of this Diving Gear, which allows you to see through the ocean clearer.
