Overview

The Abyssal Specter Rod is a mid-late game rod obtained in Atlantis after unlocking the Ethereal Abyss Pool. Its resilience is one of the highest in the game. This rod is great if you struggle at the fishing bar minigame. This rod is also a decent money making rod due to its Passive.

It's Passive grants a 25% Chance for fish to be Abyssal (3.5x), aswell as a guaranteed +20% fish weight buff.

Obtainment

• It is recommended to do the puzzle with 3+ people, with two or more focusing on finding the pressure plates while the third does the clock if they're fast enough.
• After having completed the entire puzzle, the door stays open permanently.

Enchantments

The Abyssal Specter Rod's best enchants are:

• For C$, Abyssal as a buff to the rods passive or preferably Quantum.
  • Note that the Quantum enchantment will require Exalted Relics.
• For faster lure times, Swift or preferably Hasty.

Other alternatives are:

• For luck improvement: Lucky, Divine, or best of all Immortal.
  • Note that the Immortal enchantment will require Exalted Relics.

• For an even bigger control bar; Controlled

• For even higher resilience; Resilient, or Mystical.
  • Note that the Mystical enchantment will require Exalted Relics.

Notes

• The Abyssal Specter Rod along with the Swift or Hasty enchant can be paired with any bait to instant catch.

• Furthermore, Deep Coral can make it have a whopping 165% resilience, making fish even like the Scylla a walk in the park, without it biting the rod. (needs mystical enchant)

• The Rod's Passive makes it a decent money making rod due to the 25% chance of catching an Abyssal Mutation (3.5x) passive and making the fish 20% bigger.

• This rod survived the max KG disaster. The max KG disaster was a moment where all the max kg's of rods were nerfed badly. This still stayed as infinite. (Note, all the nerfed rods got rebuffed)

• Pairing this rod with the Controlled enchant makes the fishing bar 65% width, which is the same as the Brick Rod's.
