Dress To Impress is a creative fashion game where you compete against other players by designing unique outfits and showcasing them on the runway. You'll vote on other players' designs while they judge yours. It's all about style, confidence, and impressing the crowd.
What Is Dress To Impress?
This is a competitive fashion game built around a simple loop: create an outfit, walk the runway, and vote for the looks you love. You're trying to earn votes and prove you have the best style. Every match has a theme—think "winter vibes" or "fairy tale"—and you need to match your outfit to it while standing out from the competition.
Your First 10 Minutes
Step 1: Join a Match
When you load in, you'll be placed in a lobby with other players waiting for a round to start. The game will show you the current theme. There's nothing to do yet except wait for everyone to load—just hang out with your avatar until the timer counts down.
Step 2: Enter the Outfit Creation Menu
Once the round begins, you'll enter the customization phase. Your screen shows your avatar in the center and a huge wardrobe to the sides. You have about 2–3 minutes to build your outfit before the runway show starts.
Step 3: Dress Your Character
Click on clothing items, accessories, and shoes to add them to your avatar. You can mix and match anything available. Pay attention to the theme—if it says "disco," pick shiny, colorful pieces. The more your outfit matches the theme while looking cool, the better.
Step 4: Strike a Pose (Optional)
Before the runway, you can select a pose for your character. This is how you'll appear when walking the catwalk. Some poses are more dramatic or confident—pick one that makes you feel good about your outfit.
Step 5: Hit the Runway
Your character walks down the runway automatically. You don't control the movement—just watch as your outfit gets shown off to everyone. Other players are doing the same on their own runway segments.
Step 6: Vote for Your Favorites
After everyone's had their moment, you'll see other players' outfits and cast votes. You get to choose which looks you think are the best. Your vote counts toward their final score.
Step 7: See the Results
The game shows who got the most votes and crowned the top model for that round. Check where you placed, then get ready for the next theme and the next chance to win.
Core Game Loop
Every round follows the same pattern:
- Wait in the lobby (theme is announced)
- Spend 2–3 minutes designing your outfit
- Walk the runway and see other outfits
- Vote for the looks you love
- View final rankings
- Repeat with a new theme
Main Mechanics
Outfit Creation
You have access to a rotating wardrobe of items. The more you play, the more items unlock. Simply click pieces to add or remove them. There's no limit to how many items you can layer, so get creative. Colors matter—matching your outfit to the theme gives you an edge.
The Runway Walk
Your character automatically walks down the catwalk. Your pose determines how they stand and move. You can't control the walk itself, but your pose choice sets the mood for how your outfit is presented.
Voting System
After the runway show, you vote on outfits you think are the best. You can vote for multiple looks. Voting is competitive—your votes help determine who wins, and everyone's voting on you too.
Ranking and Rewards
The player with the most votes wins the round and becomes the top model. You earn progress and rewards based on how many votes you get. Keep playing to unlock new clothing items and cosmetics.
Beginner Tips
Color coordination matters. Clashing colors make outfits hard to look at. Stick to colors that work together—complementary shades, neutrals with a pop of color, or monochrome looks all work well.
Accessories complete the look. Don't forget hats, jewelry, bags, and other add-ons. They make a huge difference in how polished your outfit appears.
Use poses strategically. Some poses look more confident or fit certain outfit styles better. A regal pose works great for elegant outfits; a playful pose suits fun themes.
Watch what wins. Pay attention to which outfits get the most votes. Over time, you'll notice patterns in what players find appealing, and you can use that knowledge to improve your own designs.
Explore the wardrobe. New items are added regularly. Spend time clicking through everything available so you know what you have to work with. Familiarity with your options makes creation faster and better.
Common Beginner Mistakes
Ignoring the theme: Picking random clothes without thinking about the theme is an easy way to lose. Always ask yourself, "Does this match what the round is asking for?"
Rushing your outfit: You have a few minutes—use them. A thoughtful outfit beats something thrown together in 10 seconds.
Copying everyone else: If you notice many players picking the same popular outfit pieces, try something different. Standing out can earn you votes.
Forgetting to pose: Your pose is part of your presentation. Don't skip it. A great outfit with the wrong pose can look awkward.
Not voting: Voting helps you earn rewards and keeps the game fun. Plus, it's how the winner is determined—your voice matters.
How to Earn Rewards
You earn rewards by playing rounds and getting votes. The more rounds you complete and the better you place, the faster you unlock new items. There's no way to buy your way to style—everything comes from playing and improving. Keep competing, and your wardrobe will grow.
