Arsenal throws you into non-stop arcade combat where your weapon changes every few kills. Unlike traditional shooters where you pick your loadout, you're racing through a massive arsenal of weapons — bazookas, spell books, rifles, and more. The game keeps you on your toes because you never know what you'll be holding next.
These beginner tips will help you get kills faster, climb the leaderboard, and start earning BattleBucks for cosmetics.
Understand the Weapon Rotation
Every kill advances you to the next weapon in the arsenal. You can't choose what you get — that's the core mechanic. Accept that some weapons will feel awkward to you at first. Don't get frustrated when you hit a melee weapon or a slow gun. The faster you adapt, the faster you'll get kills and move to the next one. Watch what other players are holding when you respawn so you know what to expect next.
Stay on the Move
Standing still is a death sentence. Good players are always strafing, jumping, and relocating. Even when you have a powerful weapon, keep moving to avoid enemy fire. Use the environment for cover between fights. Jump around corners to peek at enemies unpredictably. The longer you stay alive, the more kills you'll rack up.
Learn Each Weapon Fast
You won't have much time with each gun, so pick up the basics immediately. Spray weapons need close range. Sniper-style weapons need you to stop and aim. Bazookas and explosives need leading your shots. Instead of panicking when you pick up something unfamiliar, take one or two shots to feel its recoil and bullet spread. Most of your kills will come from experience, so every match teaches you something.
Use Your Melee When Cornered
You always have a melee weapon available. If you're holding a slow gun and an enemy rushes you, switch to melee fast. A quick combo can save your life. Practice swapping weapons with your weapon wheel so you're not fumbling when you need to defend yourself.
Aim for Headshots
Most weapons deal extra damage on headshots. This is especially important with slower weapons where you only get a few shots before your enemy fires back. Train your aim on the upper chest and head level. Flick shots and quick bursts at head height will increase your kill rate dramatically.
Earn BattleBucks Efficiently
BattleBucks are the in-game currency you earn through kills and wins. Use them to unlock characters, melee weapons, kill effects, and skins. Don't spend all your BattleBucks on cosmetics you don't care about — focus on cosmetics that match your playstyle or that you genuinely like. The grind is faster if you focus on winning rounds, not just getting a few kills.
Join the ROLVe Group
The ROLVe group is the official developer group. Joining gives you a 25% boost to both BattleBucks and XP earned per match. It also grants you an in-game chat tag so other players know you're part of the community. That's a significant progression boost, so join before you start grinding cosmetics.
Practice in Early Rounds
Early-round weapons are often simpler and easier to use. Don't rush through these kills. Use the first 30 seconds of each match to warm up your aim and get familiar with how the current server's player base is positioned. By the time you hit the mid-game weapons, you'll be loose and ready to dominate.
