Bunny

General

The Bunny is a Common Pet added in the Animal Update. It can be obtained by hatching the Common Egg, costing 50,000 Sheckles with a 99% chance to appear in the shop and a 33.33% hatch chance, taking 10 minutes to hatch. It is the base version of the Black Bunny, with 1,100 hunger compared to the Black Bunny's 1,300, and a weaker Carrot sale value bonus.

Appearance

The Bunny is a white bunny with pink inner ears, black facial features, and white ears, head, body, limbs, and tail.

Traits

Every 45 seconds, the Bunny searches for a Carrot in the garden, eats it, and automatically sells it at a marked-up price of 1.5x value. The value improves as the pet ages (potentially reaching ~1.6x or reducing cooldown to ~44 seconds with XP gain). If no Carrot is available, the Bunny hops around aimlessly. It can also eat Chocolate Carrots, which may sell for a higher value but risks unintentional consumption.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

• Automatically sells Carrots at 1.5x value (improving with age)
• Common rarity makes it easy to obtain for new players
• Useful for early-game players planting Carrots for quick profits

Cons:

• Only boosts Carrot value, limiting versatility compared to Cow (increases all plant growth) or Dragonfly (turns crops golden)
• Occupies one of three pet slots
• Wanders aimlessly without Carrots
• May consume valuable Chocolate Carrots needed for quests
