Storage Hunters: Open World is an open-world game where you become a storage auction hunter. You'll bid on lockers full of mystery items, load your finds into a vehicle, drive back to your shop, and sell everything for cash. The better your hauls and sales, the more you can upgrade your shop and unlock new areas.

Here's how to get started.

Your First Auction

Step 1: Spawn into the open world and head toward the auction house. Look for other players gathering or follow on-screen directions to the auction area.

Step 2: Once at an auction, you'll see a storage locker up for bid. Watch the countdown timer and the current highest bid amount displayed.

Step 3: Place your bid by clicking the bid button and confirming your offer. Your cash balance is shown on screen—only bid what you can afford.

Step 4: If you win the auction, the locker opens and spills out items. These items appear on the ground ready to collect.

💡 Tip — Don't overbid early. Wait and bid smartly, or you'll waste cash on low-profit hauls.

Loading and Hauling Your Loot

Step 1: After winning, collect the items from the locker. Walk over them to pick them up—they'll go into your inventory.

Step 2: Head to your vehicle, which is usually parked nearby. You'll see a loading zone where you can place items.

Step 3: Load your items into the vehicle. There's a weight and space limit, so you can't take everything—prioritize high-value or rare pieces.

Step 4: Drive back to your shop. Follow the map or road signs. Make sure your vehicle doesn't flip or crash, or you'll lose some items.

💡 Tip — Lighter, more valuable items are better than heavy junk. Learn which items sell for the most.

Selling at Your Shop

Step 1: Arrive at your shop and park your vehicle.

Step 2: Unload the items and bring them to your shop counter.

Step 3: Interact with the sale counter to sell each item. You'll see the sale price for each piece.

Step 4: Collect your cash and check your balance. This money funds future bids and upgrades.

Shop Upgrades and Progression

As you earn cash, spend it on upgrading your shop. Upgrades increase your storage space, speed up sales, or unlock new features. You'll also unlock new auction areas and regions as you progress, giving you access to rarer items and bigger lockers.

Complete quests for bonus rewards and special challenges. These help you earn faster and discover new mechanics.

Rare Mutations and Special Items

Some items come in rare mutations like Gold, Diamond, Void, and Rainbow. These are much more valuable than normal versions and worth hunting for. Safes and trophies are other high-value finds. Discovering and collecting these special items is part of the long-term goal to become a top storage tycoon.

Common Beginner Mistakes

  • Bidding too much too soon. Start with low bids to learn which items are actually profitable.
  • Loading junk. Be selective—don't take every item. Weight and space matter.
  • Reckless driving. Crashing your vehicle loses inventory items. Drive carefully.
  • Ignoring your first upgrades. Small shop upgrades pay off quickly and let you earn faster.
  • Not checking item values. Spend time learning which items sell high before grinding big auctions.
💡 Tip — Watch other players' bidding patterns. You'll learn the fair price for lockers and spot good deals.
