Missiles vs Cities combines city-building and combat strategy. You'll grow your own city, upgrade its defenses and infrastructure, and launch missiles at other players to earn cash. The core loop is simple: build, upgrade, attack, collect rewards, and defend against others doing the same.

Your First 10 Minutes

  1. Spawn into the game. You'll see your starting city on screen with basic buildings already placed.
  2. Explore your city. Walk around to see what you have—look for structures you can interact with or upgrade.
  3. Tap or click on buildings. This shows you upgrade options and costs. You'll need in-game currency (likely earned from earlier play or quests).
  4. Find your missile launcher or weapon system. Look for a distinct building or UI element that lets you select targets off your property.
  5. Select an opponent's city. Use whatever targeting system the game provides—you may click on the map, a list of players, or a radar.
  6. Launch a missile. Confirm your target and fire. Watch the missile travel and destroy enemy buildings.
  7. Collect your reward. Cash and loot appear after a successful hit. Return to your city to spend it.

Core Gameplay Loop

The main cycle repeats throughout every session:

  • Build structures — Place new buildings in your city to expand it.
  • Upgrade existing buildings — Spend cash to make your buildings stronger, more valuable, or better-producing.
  • Attack other cities — Launch missiles at opponents' structures to earn cash and progress.
  • Defend your city — Protect your buildings so attackers can't farm you easily. Upgrades and placement matter.
  • Repeat — Use new cash to build bigger, then attack harder players for bigger rewards.

Key Mechanics

Building and Upgrading — Your city is your main asset. Tap buildings to see upgrade options. Upgrades cost cash and improve stats like health, production, or defense value.

Missiles and Weapons — You launch missiles at enemy buildings from your launcher. Different missiles may have different speeds, damage, or targeting behavior (check your launcher's description).

Cash Rewards — Destroying enemy buildings gives you cash. The better the building you destroy, the more you earn. Use this cash to upgrade your own city or unlock new buildings.

Attacking Mechanics — You can attack players at will, likely from a list or map. Each attack launches one or more missiles. Successful hits destroy buildings and grant rewards instantly.

💡 Tip — Don't spread your upgrades too thin. Focus on upgrading a few key buildings first rather than upgrading everything slightly. A strong core city is harder to farm than a weak, scattered one.

Early Goals

  • Earn 500–1000 cash to afford your first major upgrade.
  • Upgrade at least one building to level 2. See the difference in its stats.
  • Attack 5 other cities. Get comfortable with the missile launch system.
  • Defend your city by positioning valuable buildings away from easy reach, if the game allows placement strategy.
  • Unlock a second building type once you have enough cash.

Common Beginner Mistakes

Ignoring upgrades. New players often place tons of cheap buildings instead of upgrading fewer ones. Upgrades give you more cash per building and make your city harder to raid.

Attacking randomly without a strategy. Some players are much richer or stronger. Start by attacking weaker cities to farm consistent, safer cash before taking on high-level opponents.

Leaving your city completely undefended. If defenses are upgradeable, don't skip them. An exposed city is an easy target.

Spending cash as soon as you get it. Save up for one impactful upgrade rather than trickling cash into many small ones.

Not checking what other players' cities look like. Scout a few opponents before attacking. A city with tons of high-level buildings might not be a good target early on.

💡 Tip — The game rewards patience and planning more than fast clicking. Plan your upgrades, choose your targets wisely, and watch your city grow.
