Ink Game puts you in deadly challenges where you either survive to be the last player standing, or band together with your friends to escape. The game works on PC, console, and mobile — so you can play anywhere. Your goal is simple: adapt to each challenge and stay alive longer than your opponents.
Master these core strategies and you'll dramatically improve your odds of victory.
Know Your Game Modes
Ink Game offers three distinct endings, each with a different path to victory. Understanding which mode you're playing helps you decide your strategy from the start.
The Rebel ending lets you work with other players to escape together. If cooperation is your strength, this is your path. The Final Fight ending is pure competition — you must be the sole survivor. And the Sky Squid Games ending presents unique challenges tied to that storyline. Each one changes how you should approach other players and the challenges ahead.
Master Movement Controls
On PC, you have two essential tools for movement:
- Shift Lock (Left Ctrl or Left Alt) — Locks your camera and lets you move more precisely in any direction.
- Dash (Q) — A dodge move that can save your life if you've unlocked it.
Shift Lock is the foundation of good movement. Toggling it on gives you better control during challenges and lets you react faster to threats. The Dash ability, once unlocked, gives you a burst of speed to escape danger or reposition. Practice these controls in the first round so they're second nature by the time stakes are high.
Stay Alert During Challenges
Each challenge tests a different skill — timing, reflexes, observation, or positioning. The key is to pay attention to what the challenge actually requires before you rush in.
Watch the first few players attempt it. Notice the patterns, the safe spots, and the hazards. Don't panic and copy what you see; think about whether that strategy will work for you. Some challenges reward speed, others reward patience. Some reward staying away from other players, others require teamwork. Read each challenge before committing to a strategy.
Work Together or Go Solo
Your ending mode determines your strategy here. If you're aiming for the Rebel ending, build trust with a small group early and stick with them. Help each other through challenges and cover weak spots.
If you're in Final Fight mode, don't announce your strategy. Stay near others without committing to them. Position yourself to succeed if they fail. Avoid being the obvious threat — let stronger players draw attention while you execute cleanly.
The worst approach is being unpredictable. Decide your loyalty early and act consistently so other players know whether to trust or avoid you.
Learn the Three Endings
Ink Game features three different stories with their own outcomes:
- Rebel — Escape with your team by working together and overcoming challenges as a group.
- Final Fight — Be the last survivor standing. Every other player must be eliminated.
- Sky Squid Games — A unique storyline with its own set of challenges and ending.
Each ending changes the difficulty, the challenges you'll face, and how other players will behave. Learning what each ending plays like helps you prepare mentally and choose your strategy before you spawn.
