The Adventurer's Rod is the rod you automatically receive when you reach Second Sea in Fisch. It's completely free and comes after you defeat Cthulhu. While it's a decent stepping stone, most players quickly switch to stronger rods.

How to Obtain It

You get the Adventurer's Rod instantly when you join Second Sea — no purchase or quest needed. Since you start Second Sea with 10,000E$, you can immediately buy a better rod if you want to skip using this one.

The rod has a passive ability: you get a 30% increased chance to catch fish with natural mutations (like mythical fish) when you reel them in.

The biggest weakness is the 0 Control stat. This makes it harder to keep the blue line centered during the reeling minigame, especially on bigger fish.

Should You Use It?

Not really. The Adventurer's Rod is fine early on, but it's not recommended for grinding. Its low Control and weak Resilience make it frustrating to use compared to better Second Sea rods.

If you want something stronger right away, consider using First Sea rods like the Ethereal Prism Rod or No Life Rod instead — they're much better for catching fish steadily.
