The Abyssal Goliath is a Mythical-rarity fish in Fisch — the highest tier you can catch. It's a massive deep-sea creature that spawns only in one location under specific conditions. Catching one is a serious challenge, but the massive size and prestige make it worth the grind.
Where to Find It
Head to Atlantis, specifically the Poseidon Trial Pool. This is the only location where the Abyssal Goliath spawns. You must fish here at night — daytime won't work.
Bait and Requirements
You must use Legendary Truffle Worm as your bait. This is the only bait that will attract the Abyssal Goliath. If you're using anything else, you won't catch it, so make sure you have plenty before you start.
There are no season or weather restrictions, but the time of day matters — fish only during night.
Size and Rewards
The Abyssal Goliath ranges from 700 kg to 1,516.5 kg, with an average around 931 kg. Each kilogram is worth 5 Cash, meaning an average catch earns about 4,655 Cash. You'll also gain 2,500 base XP when you reel one in.
How to Reel It In
When you hook an Abyssal Goliath, you'll see a Mythical indicator pop up above your head and hear a bell sound. Here's the critical part: your reeling progress slows down by 75%. This makes the fight much harder than normal fish.
- Stay calm when you hook it — the slower progress means you need patience and precision.
- Follow the blue reeling line as accurately as you can by holding down or clicking.
- Keep the white progress bar filled as you reel. Mistakes cost you more time because of the 75% penalty.
- Fill the entire progress bar at the bottom to successfully reel in your catch.
Mutations and Rarity
Like all fish in Fisch, the Abyssal Goliath can spawn with different mutations, including Shiny, Glossy, Abyssal, Scorched, Hexed, Subspace, Wrath, Firework, Ghastly, Giant, King's Blessing, Nuclear, Atlantean, Blessed, Merry, and Santa variants. Each mutation is purely cosmetic but adds to the prestige of owning one.
