AFK Mine is a unique zone in Fisch where you can leave your character idle and earn rewards passively. You don't interact with it like normal fishing—instead, you just sit in the mine while rewards roll in. It's perfect for making progress while you're away or doing other things.
What Is AFK Mine?
Located on a small island in the north-eastern side of Moosewood, AFK Mine is a time-themed area run by an NPC named Cole. When you enter, you see a static screen of Cole mining—you can't fish or move around, but you passively earn rewards and XP just by being there.
The longer you stay, the more you earn. Unlike active fishing, there's no limit to how long you can AFK. Plus, you gain XP automatically as long as you're in the mine.
How to Unlock AFK Mine
To access AFK Mine, you must unlock a second island first (any island besides Moosewood). Once you own another island, you can visit the small island in the north-eastern part of Moosewood and enter the mine.
How Luck Works
Luck increases your odds of getting better rewards from the mine. You can stack multiple luck sources to reach up to 150% total (or 100% as a free player).
Here are the ways to gain luck:
- Premium Boost: +50% (requires Roblox Premium)
- Friend Boost: +10% per friend in the game, capped at +50% (max 5 friends)
- Free AFK Luck: +10% every 15 minutes, capped at +50%
Free-to-play players can reach 100% luck by maxing friend boost and free AFK luck. Premium players can reach 150% by adding the Premium Boost on top.
Possible Rewards
The mine gives out titles, baits, ingredients, currency, and other items. Rarer items have much lower drop rates, so don't expect legendary rewards often.

⏳ The Final Fishness ⏳ is the rarest obtainable title at 0.05%. Many players grind the mine for months without getting it. It's purely cosmetic but highly coveted.
Tips for Maximizing AFK Mine
Stack your luck before AFK grinding. Wait for free AFK luck to reach 50%, invite friends to hit 50% friend boost, and if you have Premium, you get an instant 50%. Combined, that's 150% luck and dramatically better rare loot odds.
The server resets everyone around every 16 minutes. This auto-rejoin happens on its own and doesn't erase your earlier rewards. You don't need to manually rejoin to keep earning.
Ingredients and rare baits are your payoff. Common titles and currency drop often. Focus on grinding if you want the exotic baits like Golden Worm or the mythical Nightmare Larva—these are valuable for high-end fishing.
