FIFA Super Soccer puts you in a packed stadium for intense 4v4 matches. You can play any position — goalkeeper, midfielder, or striker — and the role you pick shapes how you play. Learning the basics now will help you dominate from your first game.

Master the Controls

All your actions come down to four main inputs. Left mouse button (LMB) shoots and crosses. Right mouse button (RMB) passes and does low shots. Q is your dribble button to weave past defenders. E triggers slide tackles for defense. Knowing these instinctively matters more than anything else — muscle memory wins matches.

Pick a Position and Own It

Don't try to do everything. Each position has a different job:

  • Goalkeeper: Make big saves and start attacks from the back. Your stops win games.
  • Midfielder: Be the link between defense and attack. Pass smart, deliver assists, and cover ground.
  • Striker: Score goals. Stay forward, position yourself to finish chances, and create space with dribbles.

Master one position first, then branch out.

Use Dribbling to Create Space

Holding Q while moving lets you weave through defenders. Don't just run straight — change direction, shift side to side, and use it when defenders crowd you. A good dribble opens up shooting lanes or passing windows that weren't there before.

Know When to Shoot vs. Pass

LMB shoots from distance or crosses into the box. RMB is your quick pass and low shot. If you're far from goal, pass. If a striker is open in the box, cross to them. If you're close and clear, shoot. Reading the moment is the difference between scoring and giving the ball away.

💡 Tip — A low shot (RMB) is harder for goalkeepers to save than a regular shot. Use it when you're in close.

Slide Tackle Defensively, Not Recklessly

E is your slide tackle. It's powerful but risky — if you miss, you're out of position and the attacker has space. Only use it when you're sure you'll connect, or when an opponent is about to score. Don't spam it.

Watch the Leaderboard

Press TAB to see who's hot in your match. If a striker is dominating, double-team them. If a midfielder is controlling the game, mark them. Staying aware of standout players lets you adapt your strategy mid-match.

Request the Ball When You're Open

Press R to wave and ask for the ball. If you're in a good position and no one's marking you, let your teammates know. Communication (even through emotes) keeps play flowing and creates better chances.

Unlock the Camera to Scout

Press C to unlock your camera. This lets you look around the field without moving your player. Scout where defenders are, spot open teammates, and plan your next move before the ball reaches you. It's a small tool that makes a big difference.

💡 Tip — Use the unlocked camera in downtime (throw-ins, free kicks) to read the field setup.

Position Yourself Ahead of Play

Don't just follow the ball. Move to where it's going to be. Strikers should run into open spaces in the box. Midfielders should stay between defense and attack. Goalkeepers should predict shots and edge out to meet crosses. Anticipation beats reaction every time.
