Dragon Adventures is an open-world RPG where you collect over 200 unique dragon species, hatch eggs, and grow your dragons from birth. The world of Dragonaria has been corrupted by a force called the Great Devourer—and it's your job to stop it while building your dragon empire.

Whether you want to catch rare dragons, explore mysterious worlds, or design an epic lair, there's plenty to do. Let's jump in.

What Is Dragon Adventures?

This is a pet-taming RPG made by Sonar Studios. You'll spend most of your time finding dragons in the wild, hatching eggs, training your dragons to get stronger, and battling enemies. As you progress, you unlock new worlds with different dragon types and harder challenges.

The core loop is simple: explore, catch dragons, hatch eggs, level them up, and use them in combat to defeat enemies and complete quests.

Your First 10 Minutes

  1. Spawn and get your starter dragon. When you first join, you'll begin in a spawn area and receive a starter dragon automatically. This is your first partner.
  2. Check your dragon's stats. Open your dragon menu (usually by clicking on your dragon or using a dedicated UI button). You'll see its level, health, and attack power.
  3. Walk around and spot wild dragons. Dragons appear in the world as creatures you can interact with. They'll look different from your own dragon.
  4. Try to catch one. Approach a wild dragon and interact with it. You'll enter a catching mini-game or battle. Defeat it to have a chance to catch it.
  5. Open your inventory and look for eggs. Some dragons drop eggs when caught. Eggs are stored in your inventory and need to be hatched.
  6. Head to your lair. You start with a basic lair where you can place dragons. Use the menu to teleport there or find the entrance.

Catching and Hatching Dragons

Catching Dragons

Wild dragons roam across each world. When you find one, walk up and click it to start an encounter. You'll battle the wild dragon using your own dragons. If you win, you get the chance to catch it. Success isn't guaranteed—some dragons are rarer and harder to catch.

Different worlds have different dragon types. Explore new areas to unlock new species.

Hatching Eggs

Once you catch certain dragons or find eggs, they go into your egg inventory. To hatch an egg, place it in your lair. Eggs take time to hatch—be patient. Once hatched, you'll have a baby dragon that grows as you level it.

💡 Tip — Store multiple eggs in your lair so they hatch while you're exploring. You'll come back to new dragons ready to train.

Raising Your Dragons

Your dragons gain experience (XP) by battling wild dragons and enemies in quests. As they level up, their stats increase and they become more powerful.

You can raise dragons to massive sizes—some dragon species grow much bigger than others. A fully grown rare dragon is a powerful asset in your team.

To level faster, focus on quests and regular battles. The more you use your dragons, the stronger they get.

Exploring the Worlds

Dragon Adventures has multiple unique worlds, each with its own dragons, treasures, and secrets. When you start, only one world is unlocked. As you complete quests and progress, new worlds open up.

Each new world usually introduces new dragon species you haven't seen before. Exploration is rewarded—look for hidden areas and chest spawns.

💡 Tip — Use your dragons' movement abilities. Some dragons can fly or run fast, which helps you reach distant areas quickly.

Building Your Dragon Lair

Your lair is your base. You can decorate it and place dragons there. As you progress and catch more dragons, your lair fills up. You can customize the design to make it unique.

Lairs also serve as a safe space where your dragons rest and eggs hatch. Spend time decorating and organizing your collection.

Quests and Combat

The Great Devourer has corrupted Dragonaria. Quests task you with defeating enemies and stopping the spread of corruption. You'll battle using your dragons.

In combat, use your dragons to fight enemies. Level up your dragons, build a strong team, and use strategy to win. Quests reward you with XP, items, and dragon eggs.

Beginner Tips

  • Catch a variety of dragons early on. Different dragons have different strengths. A diverse team beats bosses more easily.
  • Don't ignore eggs. Hatching is free—place every egg you find in your lair immediately. You'll have more dragons to level without extra cost.
  • Use fast dragons to explore. Some dragons are slower. Equip faster ones when you want to traverse the world quickly.
  • Keep multiple dragons at similar levels. Having one mega-strong dragon isn't as good as having a balanced team of medium-strong dragons. You'll need variety for different enemy types.
  • Check new worlds regularly. Once unlocked, new worlds have new dragon species and tougher quests. Don't stick to one area forever.
  • Revisit earlier areas for rares. Rare dragons sometimes only appear in lower-level zones. Check back occasionally.
