The Depths Key
The Depths Key is an exotic item in Fisch, essential for unlocking The Depths, a hidden area beneath Vertigo. This key is a rare catch, obtainable by fishing in specific locations.
Obtaining the Depths Key
To acquire the Depths Key, fish in the following areas:
Strange Whirlpools: These unique whirlpools, identifiable by upward-shooting water spouts, appear randomly in the ocean. Entering one transports you to Vertigo, where you can fish for the key.
Vertigo: Within this secret cave, head to Vertigo’s Dip, the water-filled pit at the cave’s end, to fish for the Depths Key.
Usage of the Depths Key
Once obtained, the Depths Key unlocks the gate to The Depths, located at the bottom of Vertigo’s Dip. Ensure you’ve completed Vertigo’s Bestiary before attempting to unlock the gate. After meeting these requirements, speak with The Keeper near the gate to open it. As of version 1.07.0, the gate remains open permanently after the first unlock, eliminating the need for multiple keys.
